About Ruth

Like everyone, my life has had its own inflection points. Knee deep in the hustle culture of the Bay, I worked a high-stress job in financial technology. Right after we had our first kid, my husband had the luck and misfortune of losing his job. We were ready for a slower life, so instead of waiting on a job to take us out of the Bay, we decided to pull the ripcord and move. It was late 2019.

2020 was an inflection point for everyone. We were all forced to stop and pull up the threads of our lives. I knew my body and my life were an orchestra out of tune. I had postpartum anxiety. I had a parent in hospice care. I suffered a miscarriage. And I never stopped working. I looked at all of my different roles: my career, my marriage, my health, my role as a mom, and I knew I needed to chart a new course for myself. Something big had to change.

In 2021, I left my job, and on my way out of the door, one of my colleagues pulled me aside and asked me to meet with him. He was navigating all the different tensions and complexities of work too. Since then, the universe keeps giving me opportunities to link arms, hold mirrors, and champion people to move from one part of life to another.

If I’m walking beside you, I come with a lot of heart, vulnerability & courage, and I’ll help pull that out of you. I know what it’s like to build start-ups, coach leaders, strategize your business and your career. If you are stuck at an inflection point, I will help you honor the past, stay rooted to the present, and dream about the future.
